NSW: $1 million worth of cannabis plants found in Liverpool
SYDNEY, Feb 12 AAP - An anonymous call to a police station has led to the seizure of
about $1 million worth of cannabis from a house in southwestern Sydney.
Police raided the house on Medley Avenue in Liverpool about 8am (AEDT) today and seized
355 hydroponic cannabis plants.
An elaborate hydroponic system was in place, police said, with most rooms in the four
bedroom home, and also the garage devoted to growing cannabis.
One man was arrested at the house and was still assisting police with their inquiries
this afternoon.
