NSW: Prison privatisation question to go before NSW Cabinet
The question of whether to privatise a number of jails in New South Wales will go before
the state Cabinet in a matter of weeks.
Speculation has surrounded three of the state's future jails -- two of which are due
to open this year.
New South Wales currently has one privately-run prison in Junee, in the state's south east.
A spokesman for Corrective Services Minister JOHN HATZISTERGOS says no decision has
